Where do I go from here??-Thyroid issues?!
Question: Where do I go from here!?!?-Thyroid issues!?
I just got my lab results from a year ago!. The blood sample was taken at about 11am that day and I had not eaten since 10pm the night before and had only drank plain water (per doctor instructions)!. My TSH was 1!.32 (ref 0!.49-4!.67) and my free T4 was 1!.01 (ref 0!.71-1!.85)!. I'm slightly pissed off that the doctor didn't run any other thyroid tests since I went in specifically for a thyroid workup!.
Most of my lab work came back practically perfect!. Everything was right in the middle of the ref!. ranges!. Thhe following were the only other abnormailities:
-Osmo serum calc was 273 (ref!. 275-295)
-Cholesterol was slightly elevated
-WBC was 11!.2 (normal range 4!.8-10!.8)
With my Urinalysis everything was negative but beside my ketone and blood analysis it said "+1"!. I don't exactly know what that means!.
I know those 2 thyroid values seem to be right in the middle of range, but i have so many hypothyroid symptoms that i can't believe that they were normal!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may be have been feeling crappy b/c of an infection (high WBC)!. Your calcium was normal!. If you eat high protein low carbs then that explains the ketones in your urine (as well as the high cholesterol)!.

The wbc count is not high enough to really cause a problem!. Some people have a slightly higher wbc count I do !. I am 11!.4 on my wbc count!. Did your dr check for thyroid antibodies or a t3 up take test!. I have an underactive thyroid my endo treats it!. Have ur pcp refer u to an endo for treatment and a thyroid ultrasond!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
