Question: How long does it take to build up iron in your blood!?
i'm going to donate plasma and i want to make sure i'm not anemic orall my time will be wasted, is salads with iceberg lettuce okay to help build up blood, i usually eat noodles or hamburger helper, my anemia comes and goesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Of course protein like hamburgers is good for iron as are beets etc!.
The easiest, cheapest form is to get molasses- blackstrap is best but any will do, and take a tablespoon at least a day- it does not taste bad- and your body will digest it more easily than iron tablets which are hard to absorb and expensiveWww@Answer-Health@Com

Noodles and Hamburger Helper is not a good source of iron!. If you are anemic donating blood may not be the best thing for you to do!. Some iron rich foods are red meat, fish, beans, and vegetables!. Sometimes other foods help the body to better absorb the iron it takes in!. Vitamin C is also helpful in this!. If you are anemic you should be on a daily iron supplement!. You may want to consider some changes in your diet!. Going from what you mostly eat now to more balanced meals should get you back on track for healthy iron levels!. Right now put the idea of donating blood in the back of your head for a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
