I see small bright dots of light in my field of vision every day?!

Question: I see small bright dots of light in my field of vision every day!?
I have been to the eye doctor and he says my eyes are perfectly fine!. He says I am just seeing "floaters" but I looked floaters up on the internet and the descriptions don't match what I see!. I see small dots of light that are more brillian and beautiful than anything else I have ever seen!. Sometimes they are blue, sometimes purple, white, yellow and sometimes its like a glistening, shimmering trail of white light!. They all glisten and shine!. I have excellent blood pressue!. It does not block out my field of vison!. It don't see them only out of the corner of my eyes!. I do not feel any pain!. I barely ever get migraines!. I see them everywhere!. I see them inside and outside, at school, work, everywhere!. Can anyone help me as to why I see these!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Have you ever suffered any head trauma in the past, such as concussions!? I have had four and I sometimes have floaters and see the visions you describe!. My eyesight is better than 20/20 so I know it doesn't effect your vision!. Floaters can come in many, various visions!. Floaters are suspended in the vitreous humour, the thick fluid or gel that fills the eye!. But sometimes, the brilliant colors you are describing can mean retina deterioration!. However, if your eye doctor says they are fine, I'm sure they are!. If it will make you feel better, go seek a second opinion!. I live with the fact that I have some floaters in my left eye, but as long as my precious vision is the way it is, I'll gladly live with it!. Things could be much worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go to a different dr!. My boss has this same issue and it's a major concern!. Sorry I don't remember the term, but basically she has to be really careful of the strain she puts on her eyes, can't pick up heavy things, and is closely monitored!. If I remember correctly it's because something is detaching from her eye!. It's looking like she will probably be blind within decade or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like migraine aura without migraine pain to me!. How old are you!? This is actually pretty common with post-menopausal women!. I have gotten a few migraines with aura, but mine are usually without aura (just pain), and I am 38!. I get the scintillating scotoma kind of aura!. It sounds like you're getting the aura (which is actually just a visual perceptual disturbance) without the migraine pain!.
