Serious constipation or worse??!

Question: Serious constipation or worse!?!?
I arrived in Spain for a two week study program one week ago!. Four days later I hadn't had a BM so I started taking laxatives (durolax)!. After one, I had watery diarrhea of little substance!. Two laxatives the next day, more of the same!. Took a glycerine suppository today and just more watery mucus diarrhea!. I am experiencing mild stomach pain and a curbed appetite!. Is this just severe constipation or could this be more serious!?

I have one more week here and then three buddies and I leave for four weeks of European backpacking so I want to get this taken care of so that this is no longer a cause of anxiety!.

I have never been constipated before!.

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might be worth it to make a long distance call to a family member and have them contact your doctor and get back to you!. You might have an some type of intestinal bug that you need to get rid of!. If you are having watery diarrhea then you are NOT constipated!. If your constipated then you are not having any kind of BM at all and when you finally do it will be difficult to pass!. You might need to have an antibiotic to kill what ever kind of organism it is that you have contracted!. Stop taking the durolax because that is probably making your problem worse!. If you can't get info from your own family doctor then I would suggest speaking to a pharmacist where you are!. I'm sure your not the first person who has had this problem and they can probably suggest something over the counter for you to take!. Good luck and I hope your problem clears up quickly so you can enjoy Spain and Europe!Www@Answer-Health@Com
