Pimple Pus?!
Question: Pimple Pus!?
Okay i have acne and there are pus in it!. Obviously for it to heal you need to get rid of the pus, but how!? My mom use a needle and just scratch the surface and white pus came out, it wasn't liquidy!. It was just a soft solid!.!.!. Is there any way instead of a needle!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Run really hot water (as hot as you can stand without burning yourself) over a washcloth!. Squeeze out all the extra water and fold the washcloth a couple of times!. Put this on the pimple for a few minutes, pressing firmly!. Rotate the washcloth as you feel it cooling, or put hot water on it again!. Do this for about 10 minutes!. The heat will open up the zit and allow the pus to drain, and the washcloth will absorb the pus!. Much nicer than a needle :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yeah, buy a comedone extractor - dermatologists and aestheticians use them, and they are the only safe, physician recommended way to remove individual acne lesions!. It is a metal tool with small openings in the ends and a handle - you press the open area over a pimple and the stuff comes out!. You can use it for blackheads, too!.

If you take the other posters' advice and pop them, soak you face in warm water first to open up your pores!. If you squeeze your pimples before they are ready you will drive the bacteria (because that is what is causes the outbreak int he first place) into the skin, not just out of it!.
Also, have hope because acne usually gets much much better with age!. I know that doesn't help now :-(Www@Answer-Health@Com

get rid of the pus!? well, for one thing, don't scratch it or it'll leave an ugly scar, you can pop it, but put ice after, always works for me though, or what my friend does!.!.!.he put toothpaste overnight!.!.!.not sure if it works!.!.but for him it didWww@Answer-Health@Com
The way your mom has you doing it is totally wrong, you are risking infection and scarring that will cause facial scarring that will stay with you the rest of your life!. Go to a dermatologist and get the medicine and proper teaching on how to combat it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
oh gee, what your doing is bad, youll have scars on your face if you keep that up, plus the tremour you're causing on your skin will cause more outbreaks of pimple!. i suggest buying acne face wash and lotions, perferable Proavtive Solution!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
lol just put your fingers on either side of the pimple and squeeze!. i wouldn't scratch your face with a needle if i were you cause that can infect it!

Proactiv works, so does Cetiphil (you can get at the drugstore)

you can apply toothpaste overnight and it will dry out the pimple
and that soft solid stuff isn't pus!. it's like grease and oil and dirt that builds up in your pores!.

pop it with ur thumb or u could naturally let it leave ur skin(don't pop it), plus i would stay away from popping it because u can get acne scars that stay on u for the rest of ur lifeWww@Answer-Health@Com
popping will only cause scars and potentially cause an even bigger infection!.

Place your fingernails on either side of the pimple and push them together!. The pus should squeeze out!. Whatever you do, dont make the pimple bleed, as it may scar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
