Question: I have a picc line in and have to take merem (meropenum)(an antibiotic) and 3 mL of heparin!?

I have had PICC and other central lines several times!. Don't drink!. This probably isn't a real long term thing, but your life is!. You don't want to throw up, rupture a vessel or something using heparin!. Be good and get well!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont know what form your antibiotic is in but i know your heparin is not injestable!.
seriously talk to your doctor!. you have a PICC for a reason!. this is serious stuff and you could die if you screw it up!. im sorry if i sound harsh but its true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
