Answers:
Yes!. This is very normal!. If you have those little marble "poops" then you are slightly constipated!. The mucous is in the lining of the GI tract and helps move your waste!. You normally don't see it with larger BMs, but with little hard ones you will see more!. Some people always have alot mucous!. It's normal and it's your body working properly!. Worst case you may have IBS - which is more common than you could ever imagine!.

It is NOT a sign of Crohns or UC!. I would suggest to drink a lot of water, eat a meal of fiber, (veggies/fruits) and in a day or two you should have a normal BM again!.

If you are very stressed or anxious about this, make an appointment with your physician!. But know that BM Issues, like this, are very common in young women your age!.

Edit:

I see that you commented that docs think it's IBS!. That is because of your age!. Women of child bearing age, who start having gastro issues are almost always IBS-ers!. I can't count how many of my patients who were worried about mucous, diarrhea, abdominal pain and went through all of the expensive tests to find out that they had IBS which was diagnosed in the first place!. Mucous is very normal!. If you insist on tests, you will have to have xrays, sigmoidoscopies and colonoscopy!. These tests are no fun, the prep is awful and they are expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah you might have a ulcer or a really bad stomach infection of some sort, if you can look it up on webMD on the symptoms checker, casue that sounds like a serious problem

hoped that helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com
