Sort of!. You will develop antibodies and the same kind of bacteria won't affect you that way again!.
As for the duration of the disease, antibiotics such as eritromicin can reduce it by decreasing the amount of the bacteriae that caused the disease in the gut!. But the clue is hydration until it goes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
