OCD, what is this?!

Question: OCD, what is this!?
I remember being like 5 or 6 and my mom would help me pick out outfits and I would never pick the first two it had to be the third!. Everything had to be the 3rd choice!. I would get an even number of toys to play with (10) I would leave the sink running for 10 seconds!. And when I got older around 12 I started counting my steps and stairs and the number of words someone said in a sentence!. Now I'm obsessed with cleanliness and health and all of the above!. Does this sound like OCD or something or just me being weird!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes it does!. I am actually VERY obsessive!. I was diagnosed by my therapist!. Aswell, I count everystep I take!. I don't even realize it untill some one points it out!. It is funny because if I am walking and talking really fast, sometimes a number will pop out of my mouth and I won't even realize it!.

Unless you would like to cure these disorders, I don't suggest you waste your money for doctor diagnoses!. I personally love consistency, continuity, and I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!. Many people with this disorder are like me and don't want to change their ways either!. My obsessives are thing that I incorporate in my every day routine and I feel comfortable haveing them!. It is like your third outfit!. You are not happy nor content if it isn't the third outfit!.
Please consider this: does it bother you that you count or have an issue with every thing needing to be clean!? Do you want help to try to rid your obsessives!? OCDs aren't always a bad thing!. If I were your partner, I would LOVE that you had to have things clean!. Consider your options!.

Yup, sounds like OCD!. However, if it doesn't intefere with your life, I wouldn't worry about having to take meds, although you might want to talk to a psychiatrist/psychologist/counselor about this before it becomes a problem!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
