Do cartilege piercings really endanger your hearing?!

Question: Do cartilege piercings really endanger your hearing!?
I heard that the shape and condition of the cartilege in your ear helps you hear and that by getting a piercing, you could harm your hearing!. True!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I suppose it COULD if you REALLLY damage your cartilege!.!.!.!. but I highly doubt it!.

I got 12 stitches through the cartilege on my ear because a friend and I were tubing, we fell out, and her knee split my ear in two!. It was literally dangling!. And I still hear perfectly well!.
So I really don't think a piercing will screw up your hearing, even if it gets RIPPED out!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have never heard of such a thing, maybe if it got infected and you had to have part of it removed it might do something (if the shape of your ear is disrupted it can change your hearing)!.
I got my cartilage pierced years ago and they did something wrong, hit the wrong thing or something and my ear is all wonky (still)!. It is all bent backward on the top and looks kind of strange, just make sure they know what they're doing!. I even got mine done at a tattoo/piercing place and they still messed it up, so do your research!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no that is ridiculous!. I hear just find

If you are going to pierce anything even your ears, dont use a piercing gun like they have at claires, they are unsanitary and could cause infection!. go to a local piercing

nopeee !.
i had mine done !.
not even profesionally !.
by a friend !.
but he knew what he was doing !.
it didnt get infected or anything,
and my hearing is FINE !.

i HAD like 20/20 hearing!.
and still do !.

you're hearing has something to do with the tubes and cords INSIDE your ear - TO you're brain !.

your cartalidge is nowhere NEAR that !.

so enjoy!. :)
if you're planning on getting it done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
