Sexual dysfuntion at age 20?!

Question: Sexual dysfuntion at age 20!?
I have been on zoloft for ocd since age 13!. I believe the zoloft has finally caught up to me!. I dont enjoy sex at all, and almost find it boring!. I find it hard to ejaculate even by myself!. when I do I have grip tight and work too hard!. It is almost I have never had an orgasm with a girl, and sometimes I have a hard time even gaining an errection by myself!. I have not had much experience with sex (I just lost my virginity this year)!. I feel bad about my problem so bad that it effects my life!. Is there any hope for this!? and will the problem from years of zoloft go away!? Should I take a male enhancement!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Medical doctors practice medicine! They are going to assume that the medicine is causing the erectile dysfunction!. They will look at your penis and tell you that "your penis is normal and that you should stay on zoloft because it is good for you!" They will ask you a few questions about your sex life and ask you if you were ever injured!. They will tell you that they think zoloft is causing erectile dysfunction!. You will have to ask them for a prescription drug like viagra! They will happily write you a prescription! They may draw blood to check your hormone levels and liver function! Those test results will ultimately come back in the normal range! You have some choices!

1=Stay on zoloft and add viagra to your prescriptions

2=Try wellbutrine which has a lower occurance of sexual side effects

3=slowly stop taking antidepressants all togetherWww@Answer-Health@Com

its the medication doing this to you!.
I'm a female, and i was on a couple different meds before:i lost all interest in sex, and i wasn't able to have an o!.
When the dosage was dropped to a lower amount, i got better(interest for sex came back)
Talk to your Dr, ask to change the medication, or if its OK to lower the dosage of the Zoloft!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Check with your doctor, as uncomfortable as it may be!. They might be able to switch you to another med that doesn't affect you as much!. Everyone is different, so you could switch to Celexa, Paxil, Prozac or something else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know what tests they'd run, but they'll definitely help you out!. Go to the doctor and see what they tell you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

See what side effects the Zoloft has!. DO tell your doctor, they maybe other options your arent aware of!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!.!.I would definitely see a doctor for this one!.

Most likely, they'll put you on a different medication!. Medications like Zoloft are notorious for causing disinterest in sexual activity!. My mother was on Zoloft and they put her on Welbutrin because of the same symptoms - absolutely no interest in sex whatsoever!.

And if the change in medication doesn't work, it's difficult in telling what tests they will do!. But there definitely is a problem as men are in their sexual peak in their early 20s and you should NOT be experiencing this at such an age!.

My bet is that it's the medication's fault!. Don't blame yourself! So, if I were you, I'd hightail it to the doctor's office so that you can try to get your life normal!.

Under the heading "Zoloft Side Effects" it says that the drug may cause "decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm"Www@Answer-Health@Com
