Answers:
You can transmit some types of food poisoning to others!. Salmonella is a classic example of this, as it's often spread by infected carriers in the food industry, who have either had salmonella themselves and are still carrying it in their stools, or are carrying it but have not shown signs of the disease!. If the person does not wash their hands thoroughly before handing food, they can infect the food and thereby infect others!.

Norwalk virus (winter vomiting disease) is not actually food poisoning, but causes diarrhoea and vomiting, and is spread by contact with surfaces touched by an infected person who has not washed their hands properly!.

So if you were ill with food poisoning yourself and made a sandwich for somebody else, it's possible that you could have infected the sandwich!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Very important, of course, to thoroughly wash your hands with warm soapy water before preparing food!. You ate something on Friday that made you sick and then made a sandwich the next day that made a friend sick!? Any of the same foods involved both days!? Same kitchen!? There's the possibility of cross contamination!. e!.g!. if you cut raw chicken on a cutting board and then later cut lettuce on the same board without using a bleach solution and lots of soapy water to get the board really clean before it touched the lettuce, that would be bad!. The food network show Good Eats pays much attention to the possibility of cross contamination and emphasizes the importance of good sanitation practices in the kitchen!. e!.g!. use plastic cutting boards for raw meat, reserving the wood board for things like lettuce and fruit and fully cooked food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am afraid that you can!. It is spread by what is rather unpleasantly called 'the faecal oral route!.' You get the bug n to your hands and then spread it to food or a work surface!. The most famous example of this was 'Typhoid Mary'!. She was a healthy carrier of typhoid in the States in 1906, and inadvertently caused a number of food poisoning deaths!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no you cant catch it of someone that has it!. and they cant catch it off you!. the only way two people can get it at the same time is if you both ate the same thing that has poisoned you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not unless you are taking thinks from your stomach and putting it in theirs!. it also depends if what you ate touched what they ate!. but normally it is not contagious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you both ate the same thing that made you sick then obviously yes, the other person can get it!. but if you are the only person to have eaten then no!. it's not contagious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The bacteria that cause food poisoning live in your digestive tract so unless you prepare food without washing your hands when you've been to the toilet, then you shouldn't pass it on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you cant pass it on like the flu lol you both have to eat the same thing at the same time even then its not 100% that the other person will take ill!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
