Going to the podiatrist - plantar warts - nervous - what can I expect?!

Question: Going to the podiatrist - plantar warts - nervous - what can I expect!?
So several years ago I developed a wart on the bottom of my foot!. I tried to treat it at home for years, it didn't work, and over the past year it has spread and now there are several all over my foot!.

I finally got the courage to call the podiatrist!.!.!.I had avoided it all this time because I'm embarassed #1 about warts and #2 because I let it go so long!. But even though the doctor might see this stuff all of the time I'm still embarassed and nervous!!!

What can I expect at the appointment!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
What can you expect!? That's simple!. RELIEF!!! After years of suffering, you are finally going to be freeeeeeee! What they do in the doctor's office is more curious than painful!. I mean, I was fascinated by the way they burned off my wart, not in pain!. It was pretty cool to watch!. If you are that concerned about pain, ask for extra lidocaine!.

Really, the only concern you need to have is the tickle factor!. I don't know about you, but when I even see people LOOK at my feet, they start to tickle!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I was a teenager I had one on the bottom of each foot!. The surgery wasn't bad but I was off my feet for a couple of days!. Don't worry about what the doc says, he's gonna tell ya you need to get the surgery!. Don't be embarassed, it happens more often than you think!. Also enjoy your days off, I know I did!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He's going to remove your foot!. OK, sorry!. Your foot is safe!. :-)

He'll probably give you a medication to apply to the wart!. He might remove the wart!. If so, the worst part of that will be a small amount of numbing solution!. It won't hurt beyond a day!. Either way, you are going to be angry with yourself for not going years ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pretty much, they are going to freeze the wart and your going to feel instant relief!. You'll be ok!. It should take about one week to recooperate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
