I had a friend who told me this story about a girl who didn't clean her earings-even though I do--and the earing was pushing through the ear and she had to go to ER and have surgery to remove it!. Painful and gross I know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, a couple months after my daughter had her ears pierced the back of one of her ears started to grow over the back of the earring!. I was able to get the back out with a tweezers and did not have to visit a doctor!. That's why when you get your ears pierced you have to rotate the earrings and clean them often!. But after they have been pierced for a long time I doubt it would happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
