You can work in labor & delivery with an associates RN degree, the post partum unit in my city occasionally hires LPNs also!. To work in an Ob-GYN's office you could probably get by with just medical assistant (MA) training, they do hire both LPNs and RNs too!.
A BSN in also considered an RN and the job responsibilities are the same expect a BSN would more likely get a DON job over an RN!. The pay is about the same as an associates RN!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No but you can be a charge nurse and possibly make more money!. Most nurses I know that don't have their BSN but wish they got it!.!.!.it's about the same amount of school as an RN in the end!. RN=2yrs pre-rec's & 2 yrs nursing school!. BSN=4 yrs nursing school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
