Sick and exhausted as a result of stress. How do I get healthy again?!


Question: Sick and exhausted as a result of stress!. How do I get healthy again!?
I'm going through a lot of emotional stress right now and although I'm trying to eat well and exercise to combat its effects on my body, I am just exhausted and have some type of respiratory infection that I just can't kick!. What are some practical ways to get back on track when I just don't have the energy, or even desire to get going again!? I need help to jump starting myself!. Ideas anyone!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it sure is rude for me to ask what causes your stress, here in this column!.
by now, you and me know that stress, pressure, suffer are inevitable!.
And emotional is the most terrible!.
but still, emotional stress is the easiest to get rid!.

First of all, don't put off seeing your doctor any longer!. This respiratory infection will only get worst without treatment!.

Secondly; identify what is causing your emotional stain and put it in it's place!. If you spend all day dwelling on things that stress you out, this will cause serious problems with both your physical and mental health!. There should always be time in your day where it's all about YOU!.!.!.meaning that you should take some time to do something for no one else but yourself!. Take a walk, do some yoga, read a book!.!.!.whatever it takes for you to relax and let the rest of the world fall away!.

And finally, consider the fact that nothing (not even what is stressing you at this point and time) is worth your health!. Take a personal inventory and prioritize: Is this "thing" really worth THIS much stress!?!.!.!.and even if it is!.!.!."Is worrying about it REALLY going to change the outcome!? Be persistent and stay positive about whatever is bothering you!. Eventually, like all things do, your worries will come to pass!

Ya know while I do agree with everone else, that you should eat healthy and excersie as much as possible, I just want to point out that there are several medications out there that can help you combat your problem!. I had a similar situation, I was a stress freak caffine addicted, workaholic mess!.!.it affected my family time and my social time tremedously!. I talked to my doc and he suggested a low dose of xanax !. It was the greatest thing!. I didnt make me a complete zombie, I functioned better and was able to find a happy balance for everything in my life!. Now mind you, it didnt take the stress away, it gave me a better way of handling it all!.

Everyone has this "defeatest" attitude toward medications, like it should be shamefull!. Well, I will shout to the heavens that xanax is fabulous and it really helped me cope with everything going on in my day to day life!. Im not saying you have to take it , but its just an option that really worked for me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Trying to just take things slow and taking time for yourself should help - everyone needs ice cream and old movies every now and then Failing that, you can always see a doctor, they might be able to prescribe you something, or suggest other ways to treat your stress (which can dvelop into depression if it sticks around)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make a list of all the things you did over the past few days!. List EVERYTHING and approximately how long it took you to do it!. You might find that in a 12 hour day, you did 15 hours worth of activities!. Then go thru the list and see if there is anything that you can drop off the list!. Drop everything you can that is unnecessary!. Starting with the least rewarding items, of course!.

Solitude and silence!. Make it part of your every day and rest, take vitamins, drink lots of water!. Have an hour (or more) every day where it's just peace and quiet time!. No thoughts, nothing!. Try to incorporate meditation, yoga, tai chi or something into that hour too!. Buy a nice water fountain you can sit in your backyard too, listen to the trickle and calming music!. I'm going thru the exact same thing!. My doctor said rest and eating healthy!. Cut out sodas, caffeine, crap!. Fruits and veggies and food thats high in carbs and nutrients!. Be better to yourself, dont overexert yourself and dont sweat the petty stuff!. Everything happens for a reason, you'll get your moment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
