Question: Coricidin and other otc pills, expired!? still safe!?

Hi I recently found some old packages of coricidin c&c that expired in 09/07 and I was wondering what that means!. Does that mean it will still work just not as well!? Or is it dangerous to use!? Or are the main ingredients now defunct!?

What about childrens tylenol cold that expired in 05/07!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
