Answers:
Under 18s: have to have a social worker and mental health assessment!. They can also make you stay in some kind of institution if they think you will have further problems!. Parent's can take you home but the whole family will be watched closely by child authorities not directly told that though but in basic human instincts we all judge others!. In worst cases some children are put with more stable family members taken from their families if this is the problem!.

Over 18s: have to be assessed mentally and are given referred to a counsellor or something!. They can also be kept in without any say!.

PLEASE do not try to!. Either you want to do it, but imagine if you don't and you leave yourself half dead with no meaning to life left!? Or you want attention and the same thing happens or you actually die!?

Imagine the tears!. Imagine the broken hearts of those who love you!. Imagine all the possibilities your life could have!. Imagine what you could do to help others!. Imagine the smile you could put on someone's sad face!. Imagine all the happiness of family members you get to see, maybe not always but the best of times, that happiness makes you so over joyed!. Now imagine you're not there!. In the back of everyone's mind you will be there and they will have that secret little cry to themselves every night!. Imagine the pain you would put them through!. All that pain that you could prevent them from!.

I've been there many times but in the end you must know that someone in the world loves you and will continue to forever, and you could achieve so much if you just get through this little hard period in your life!. I've came so close, closer than you could imagine!. It isn't nice!. And the first experience in messing with life may be your last! Under the Mental Health Act, if it is felt that ' you are a risk to yourself or others', you can be subjected to compulsory detention!. This means, irrespective of your age, if it is felt that you are likely to attempt suicide again, you can be forced to stay in hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Attempted suicide is an offence,it is illegal!.If you are unlucky and fail in suicide,Police will file a case and hospital cannot discarge you till they receive clearance!.They will investigate ,whether your present state of mind is dangerous to safety of public, corrective treatment etc!.It may not be to easy to get discharged from hospital easily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are an immediate danger to yourself or others, this is an emergency and you will be admitted until "stable"!.
Your parents would sign a consent to have you admitted!. If they refused or released you, and this seemed to be not in your best interest, a judge could order you to be admitted!.
If you are over 18, you need a judge to specify that you are in need of treatment and for how long!. You will not be allowed to leave voluntarily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on the state if they feel you are in significant danger of injuring yourself, they can keep you in the hospital!. They can do it against your parents' wishes by making you a ward of the court!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im sorry for your pain!. A Dr will call a hospital psychiatrist to evaluate you!. If they feel you are a threat to yourself they can hold you!.You will then be sent to a rehab!. Parents have no say at this time!.Will be held for 72 hrs!. then revaluatedWww@Answer-Health@Com
