Peeling after a bad sunburn?!

Question: Peeling after a bad sunburn!?
I got burnt on monday!. It's wednesday, and I took very good care of it so it is reduced to the color of a vary dark tan, but i'm beginning to peel!. The last time this happened it kept on for months, and its summer and i like to wear tank tops all the time, which i cannot do if my back is flaking off!. I was wondering how to speed up the process of peeling!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The peeling skin is burned skin that is sloughing off, because it was greatly damaged, and has become dead tissue!. Your skin is constantly shedding dead tissue, but usually, you don't notice this (unless you skin is very dry), because it comes off in such small pieces!. Most definitely moisturize; the burned area of your skin is highly susceptible to drying out, because that top layer of your skin that helps with moisture control has been badly damaged!. After a few days when the burn isn't quite so fresh, try gently exfoliating the burned area!. You don't even have to be very thorough the first time around; your goal is simply to assist with your body's process of getting rid of all of that dead skin!. Don't go in with the intent of scraping it all off once and for all!. Go in several stages over a few days and let your body take care of the rest!. However, the more you moisturize, the less peeling skin you will generally notice!. This being because that burned area is so prone to drying out, that if left non-moisturized, some lesser damaged skin will become so dry, that it too will join in with sloughing off when it might not otherwise!. I think that should help you!. Alright!? Peace, person!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best thing to do is to let it run its course!. I recently got a very bad sunburn and I had to give it about two weeks to fully recover!. If you try to speed up the peeling process by exfoliating, scrubbing, etc, you could cause scarring!. Just use aloe and lotion, and be patient!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just exfoliate gently in the shower everyday!. It's not good to scrub really hard where the skin that's not ready to come off comes off!. It just leaves your skin raw!. When it happens to me I use a bronzing lotion to make my skin look more even toned rather than having big white blotches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Scrub

If you are already peeling, you don't need aloe!. That is for the burn!. You need to get a sugar cane scrub (Nutrogena makes a good one) and moisturize like CRAZY!!!! I like to use Palmers Cocao Butter lotion and Palmers Cocao Butter Seed Oil!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
