I would guess it is because Neosporin is not an emergency treatment for anything!. Still, a few packets would not be harmful!. What if the ambulance driver had a paper cut!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It just depends where you are at!. It is not listed on any emergency protocols that I know of though for any service or medic!. Therefore, the company does not need to purchase it nor add it to their budget!.!.!.and generally will not!. And it is true, it is not an emergency drug and if someone only ended up with a blister or scrape than they generally do not need an ambulance and it is an over the counter product that mom or dad or the patient can just go and purchase!. Now, on the other aspect of this!.!.!.if an ambulance is doing standby events!.!.which that may be what was going on!? Then it would be nice if they carried a few packets at least!. I know that I did on my rig during standby events just because it was more likely to have this type of complaint than anyother!. But again, it is not protocol at all in the emergency setting so many do not carry it!. It is not a matter of morphine vs!. neosporin though!. If you were looking at it in a pain manner!.!.!.morphine is used in heart treatment too!.!.!.smile!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

neosporin isn't an emergency medicine-

when paramedics treat injuries--they do NOT put any medicine on it!.!.!.!.!.they only control the injury!.!.

there is no need for a paramedic to use itWww@Answer-Health@Com
