Answers:
They're checking your urine for protein, basically checking on your kidney function in a quick way!.

They would only test for drugs if you or your parents (depending on your age) asked for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your drug use with regard to your yearly physical, not associated with your work, again, not associated with your work!!!!! is rather your business!. Your family doc usually is checking for abnormal metabolites in your body!.!.!.!. too much sugar in your urine(diabetes), uric acid (gout) etc!.

If --and here's the hooker --IF it is part of your job requirements that you see a physician, and have a urinalysis, and your company has a " no drug "policy, then yes, contrary to what some of your respondents have said, it is indeed sent to your employer, and that employer will indeed be sent the results!!

Something all drug users need to understand: You either end your drug use, or you remain forever in dead end jobs!. If you are operating machinery and are a danger to those around you, no employer wishes to be sued!.!.!.!. they just fire you!.

So sorta your decision, isn't it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not unless a toxicology screen is ordered!. It really doesn't matter if they find drugs or not!. They have no stipulation to report you to the authorities for this type of behavior!. You still have rights as a minor to patient privacy so they cannot tell your parents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I usually dont get urine samples at physicals!. Anyway if you're over 18 they cant release your medical history without written permission in the US!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor checks your urine for a number of things but not drugs! Secondly he cannot release any medical informaton to anyone without your authority!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NOT UNLESS THEY ARE ADVISED TO OR YOU GIVE THEM PERMISSION!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
