Answers:
No, it's just part of the mechanics used to generate such a powerful magnetic Field!.

They are loud even with the ear covers they give us!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No matter what body part we are imaging, the MRI scanner is noisy!. Even if we are getting images of your knee (and not your brain), the noise will be substantial!. This is due to the RF pulses!. And it has nothing to do with stimulating your brain!

"Why are MRI sequences so noisy!?
There are no moving parts inside an MRI device!. Noise is generated by the fast-inversion of electric currents in the radio wave emitters which obtain images!. Sequences are fairly loud in a closed high-field MRI, but quieter in open systems!. If noise is still a problem, just ask for ear protection!."

"Why is the MRI scanner so noisy!?
Although there are no moving parts inside and MRI scanner, noise is generated when powerful Radio Frequency (RF) electrical pulses are turned on and strong electromagnetic fields are switched off and on rapidly!."
