Question: Hi I took an extra Paxil pill today and I can feel my heart and this is weird!.!.!.!?
I was wicked depressed this morning so I swallowed two Paxil anxiety/anti depressant pills instead of one!. They are 20mg each and I'm supposed to have one a day!. I had cereal for breakfast and then a couple brownies when I got home!.

I then had a nap, and now I'm waking up, and I can feel my heart in my chest!. I don't know what palpitations are but it's weird cause I can feel it buhbum buhbum, you know!? I don't really feel that lightheaded I guess just a little fatigued or whatever!.

I'm guessing popping an extra pill is bad!? When will this go away o!.0 Will it get worse!? What the heeellllll!. Someone!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Wow!.!.!.!.you obviously have anxiety and/or depression!. This is serious and you should get actual help besides popping pills!. I have this too, but i DO NOT take ANY medication!. Heart palpitations is when your heart races like a million times an hour when you get spooked, scared, or when a negative thought enters your head!. Palpitations can be increased by taking the anti-anxiety drugs, anti-depression drugs and medication itself!. You do have a decision to take control of your life, even if are are too afraid or unmotivated!. Eating excessive caffeine and sugar can also increase anxiety and the palpitations!. Obviously this cannot go away overnight, unless you decrease intake of sugar, caffeine, drugs & medications!. And if you continue these bad behaviors, it can get worse over time!. But i know that you CAN prevent anything bad from happening! You can also get help from the Midwest Center of Anxiety and Depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should call your doctor!.!.!. that is not good! You should also tell someone that you know as well!.!.!. but I would call or go to the doctor first!Www@Answer-Health@Com
