Question: My brother got sick and has been throwing up black & white "mucus" any idea of what it is!?
He hasn't ate anything yet today and is not throwing up stomach acid!. He said it was like mucus but had black 'things' in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Black thing in vomit that is otherwise clear can be dark colored beverages, like tea, coke, and other sodas!. Allot of times poop gets mucusy because the bowel is irritated!. And yes the intestines can in certain cases do a reverse thingy, kinda!. ( Its way more complicated than I have time to write!.)
If he has been throwing up this stuff, get a sample and take him to the doctor with it!. Use a ziploc, inside out, like picking up dog poop!. And have you considered he may be contagious!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
