Question: Is it bad to take medicine without eatting anything!?
I have this problem with my throat and all I can eat is ice cream!. I have to take ibuprofen to feel better and I was wondering if it was bad that I only eat ice cream when I take this medicine!. My parents said that it's better to have ice cream then nothing at all in you stomach while your taking medicine, it that true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will have to read the label for the medicine!. Some medicines are taken on an empty stomach, but others are not!.

Read the directions on over the counter medications, and read the directions that the pharmacy hands out with prescriptions!.!. Some medicines clearly sate that they are to be taken with food, some are to be taken on an empty stomach, and certain ones taken with food are affected by certain foods!. Read!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes,your parents are right!. ibuprofen is tough on the stomach and it is better for you to eat something while taking it!.
