My 13 month old has a 102 fever and a rash?!
Question: My 13 month old has a 102 fever and a rash!?
My daughter has had a fever between 101 and 103 for the last 10 hours!. I gave her Tylenol twice and Motrin once, and I also tried the whole sponge bath thing!. It will go down maybe a half a degree after the medicine, but then just goes right back up!. She also has a rash on her arms, stomach, chest, back, and cheeks!. The rash developed right around the same time as her fever!. I don't want to keep medicating if it's not helping (scared of over medicating)!. I don't know what to do for her!. She also fell asleep while eating diner at 6, and then again around 7:15, and still went to bed at 8:30!. She is still somewhat eating, and she is still having wet diapers!. She also had yellow diarrhea twice!. What should I do!? I'm concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general, the severity of a rash and fever does not relate to the severity of an illness!. It is important to find out how ill the child feels or how the child is behaving!.
