I assume you're speaking of the heroic measure they speak of in a living will!. I had a living will for myself until after my father died!. It really gave me something to think about!. The doctor pressured my mother into taking him of the respirator before the tests had come back and they even knew what was wrong with him!. It's hard to say "I never want to be put on a respirator and kept alive artifically" What if you would only need that support temporarily and your crisis is completely temporary!?
I've decided I prefer giving a medical power of attorney to someone whose judgement I trust!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
