Would you lie about being in the hospital to get out of work???!!!?!

Question: Would you lie about being in the hospital to get out of work!?!?!?!!!!?
Here's the story!.!.!. My co-worker called me saturday morning telling me that she is really sick and that she needs to go to the hospital!. So, in order for her to go to the hospital I went into work a few hours early to cover for her!. I was really worried about her so I kept checking up on her through test messaging throughout the day!. Later on that day she told me that the doctors were going to keep her over night for observation!. So, I agreed to work all day today by myself so that she can get herself taken care of!.!.!.!. Mind you, I checked up on her several times through messages of course so I didn't bother her too much!.!.!. she even went to the trouble of pretending to be one of her family members on the other end saying that " she talks about you alot and she is lucky to have you as her friend" blah blah blah!.!.!.!. So, this morning I checked on her!. and she said she was still there!. Moments later I got a call from another co-worker who reported seeing her at a party last night at 2 amWww@Answer-Health@Com

From a supervisor's point of view, she needs to go!. When a person is new, they are on their best behavior!. If this is her best behavior, I would hate to see what she will be like in a year or two!. People like this truely do not care about the added work load that is placed upon their co-workers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In the future, I would suggest not covering for her in the future!. Either that, or ask her which hospital she is at and then call the hospital to see if she is a registered patient there!. Better yet, if it happens again, maybe the boss might ask for a doctor's note!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I will admitt I have made up that excuse myself BUT I only did I once nad felt so bad about it knowing that someone else had to work for me so I would be a bit bitter if I had found out that I covered for someone that was "sick" but really out partyingWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would ignore her!. If she is really sick she needs to bring in a doctor's note!. If she can't then fire her!. Don't cover for her anymore if you know she is a liar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!.!.!. if the person is a "professional liar", all things are possible for that person to do so!. Reasons after reasons (mind you!.!., it seems really genuine) will come on your way!. The only thing that you can to assure is to call the hospital itself and ask the personnel about the name of your friend!. I did that to my student one time and it's eficient!. If you want to be practical, check her out when she get in your office and perceive any signs of weakness, if she acts as if nothing happened to her (her adrenaline is too high)!.!.!. be doubtful!. Also, ask her about different questions regarding her feelings, doctor's advice and even her impression inside the hospital, etc!. Her inconsistent answers will reveal her wickedness!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
