Im about a week and a half late for my period!. Since i've started my period (im 18 now) i've always gotten it pretty much on time maybe a day or two late but never this long!. 2 days ago I got a little bit of brown discharge!. I thought that this brown discharge meant that my period is starting but its been a couple days and I dont have my period or even brown discharge anymore
Should I be worried!?

Hi Amber, you have to realize that menstruation is a "flushing out" of both blood and tissue!.
It's perfectly normal for it to be any color from light pink to bright red to dark brown, or even nearly black!.
This usually happens when you're nearing the end of your period, as the darker color is caused by older tissue and blood that has begun to clot!.
It's nothing to worry about unless it's associated with severe cramping, or a fever, foul odor, etc!. that might indicate an infection or other problem!.
You're new at it, so don't fret too much on it unless it persists and you show the above symptoms in which case you should see your regular doctor or a gynecologist! Good Luck!.

no i wouldn't worry yet i mean if your like two months late than i would worry but i know i had a pretty regular period but with the stress of going to school and working two jobs it changed and i would have one day periods you'll have it just try to relax and if your nervous about it go see your gynocologistWww@Answer-Health@Com
In all honesty, you are stressing about it so much that it is possible that you have caused this delay yourself!. Your best option is to go ahead and buy a pregnancy test from your local pharmacy!. One with 2 tests in the same box might be best!. Depending on what the tests tell you, you can either stop worrying or make an appointment at an OB/GYN office!.
