Constipation Help PLZ!!?!

Question: Constipation Help PLZ!!!?
Oh, boy!.!.!.I hate even asking these kinds of questions on here b/c I get so embarrassed even though no one can see me!. I have been constipated for about 3-4 days!. I can go, but I have been forcing it, maybe once a day!. I didn't make myself go today!. I also have a hemorroid, which makes it worse!. So, anywhoo, I pretty much need to go now, but the #2 is hard, and that makes it hurt!. So, what is a good solution to soften things up, so to speak!?
Serious answers only please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have not mentioned your age!.I believe that you are an adult!. The haemmorhoids may be the cause of the constipation!. You will have to meet a surgeon and consider surgery if they advise you so!.
In any case regularily taking a high fibre diet helps to relieve constipation , as a long term solution!.
For your immediate problem buy an adult Dulcolax(bisacodyl) suppository and insert through the anus!. If one does not help try two!. If the hemorrhoid is swollen and obstructing and painful you must first insert a pain reliever like
ANUSOLhaemmorrhoidal suppositories!.

Sennakot-S!. It's a MILD laxative and stool softener in one!. Start by taking two in the morning and two at night!. This over the counter (can get it at the drug store) medication usually does not cause diarrhea!. It will help you not have to force yourself to go!.

It is important to get plenty of fluid (water mostly) and to try to walk about 30 minutes per day (exercise)!. This will help 'move things along'!.

Also, warm prune juice, or just plain prunes, will help stimulate the bowel to evacuate!. Try to eat healthy salads, fruits and vegetables for 'roughage'!. This will give the stool bulk, and also help keep it 'soft'!.

Once you get things going again, keep using the Sennakot-S at least once per day ~ especially if you are prone to constipation!.

What a crappy subject!! LOL!!

Good luck to you!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi There

Firstly the cause of hemaroids is straining so I would suggest you stop forcing yourself because this will cause you more pain in the long run!.
I suggest eating a banana, some brown or multigrain bread, corn etc will all help the fibre content!.
You could even get some metamucil from the chemist as this is a fibre supplement!.
There are some laxitives that you can take before you go to bed which work while you sleep so that in the morning you are able to go easily!.!.!.its not the kind that give you diorreah immeditely (if you choose to get laxitives make sure you read the packs!!)!.
Obiously laxitives are only a temporary solution so basically you just need to increase the fibre in your diet!.
If your symptoms keep up after trying this then it might be a good idea to see your doctor!.

Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let me tell you, the best thing I started doing which will help!. I take one tablespoon of Cod Liver Oil in the morning!. Once I started doing this, I would go to the bathroom sometimes 2-3 times a day!. An AWESOME site to order Cod Liver Oil is on www!.vitacost!.com -- super good deals on any and all vitamins!.

Also, you should try and incorporate more fiber in your diet!. Beans are full of fiber, also oatmeal, or you can buy a product called FLAX MEAL - which is flax seeds all ground up - and you can add this to your cold cereal, hot oatmeal, pancake mix, almost anything because it is virtually tasteless!. You can get this also on the vitacost web site!.

Oh yes, drink more water!

I hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suffer with this too, so I know the pain you must be in right now :(

Ok, so eat natural laxatives!. Figs are brilliant (in fact you can buy stuff made from it in a bottle from a pharmacy) and there's bran or liquorice!. Drink plenty of water too!. From there I'm afraid it's pretty much a waiting game, but don't worry it will pass eventually!

Try to prevent it in future by eating plenty of fruit, veg and fibre!. Try to identify things in your diet that clog you up!. For me, it's eggs and fatty foods!.

Hope it gets better soon :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly dont be embarassed everyone gets it from time to time!. To relove your problem at the moment you may need to use some over the counter remedies as they will kick in quicker like -

Idrolax and Movicol avaliable for chemists!.

If your willing to wait a while longer and for future prevention!.Try drinking fresh prune juice avaliable in most supermarkets and lots of people drink it so people wont guess, if you dont like the taste then add fibre into your diet change your cereal to all bran or eat more whole meal bread, skins on potatoes are also a good source and most veg in general!. Most importantly drink lots of WATER this will soften your stools and make them lot easier to pass!.

I do this for my kids and it works!. The P diet!.!.!. Prunes, peaches, plums, pears, peas!. Drink lots of water!. In case the constipation is already uncomfortable before the diet can take effect, I used a suppository to loosen up the clog!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First choice would be some fiber, like metamucil or something similar!. Just drink it fast because it gets gelatinous quickly!.

Second would be an enema or suppository!. Pretty icky, but they get the job done!.

Third would be stool softeners!.

Fourth are laxatives!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go and get some colonics!. then change your diet!.!.!.!.!.a good website for maintaining a healthy bowel and body is mercola!.com !. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat fruits with lots of fiber!. Try eating oranges at night!.Papaya will help too!. Other alternative would be laxatives!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

buy some stool softener, it works like a charm!!! ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well kudos for being brave enough to ask! My mother has irritable bowel syndrome so she always has all sorts of bathroom related problems!.

She uses daily fiber supplements like Fiber Choice chewables, or Metamucil (I think!?)!. She likes the kinds that you can mix into your drink as well!. When she uses it regularly, it really seems to help her!.

She also keeps all kinds of books, magazines, and puzzle books in her bathroom so that she can just relax!. When sitting down, you're supposed to relax and let your body just do what comes natural, even if it means sitting there for a long time!. Grab something to keep you occupied and comfortable!. (Personally, sometimes if I know I'm going to be a while, I play games on my cell phone!) Maybe this is why some people buy those padded toilet seats!?

I hope this helps some! Good luck! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
