Question: Sick!. help!?
its 99 degrees in california but im very very cold!. my friend said even if im cold, i shouldn't wrap myself in the blanket!. is that true!?
also, whats the best way to get rid of this fever!? i have no money for the doctor atm >!.< no insurance either!. jus a poor independent college student haha

Unfortunately your friend is right, you will only hold the heat in by wrapping up if you have a fever!. You should drink something cold though for it brings the fever down from the inside!. And tepid baths will help!. They help to bring the fever down!.You can mostly alternate aspirin and ibuprofen every two hours if you are not allergic or most people can that is what my doctor said, but I am allergic to aspirin so I couldn't do that!. Any cold that you can get into you will help so that you can be cooled from the inside!. Drink plenty of fluids so that you don't get dehydrated or that will double the problem!. Get plenty of rest and if it persists,regardless of whether you have insurance or not find a free clinic or a really cheap one there somewhere maybe the one on campus, and go for antibiotics!. Of course, I am not a medical doctor but this is what I would do for my kids and my loved ones!.

Start with a nice chicken soup, it's a cure for all and gives you lots of liquids which you need anyway when your sick!.
Take an advil or tylenol depending on your temp and go to sleep!. The best way is to sweat, the more you sweat the faster you'll get well, so lost of liquids and rest!.

Take some Tylenol or fever reducer!. Don't wrap yourself in a blanket!.!.!. you can use a light sheet if you really have to!. If the fever gets any higher, take a cool bath!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
