I have heard it so many times!. A guy died because he was so nervous before the exam that he swallowed his ow n tongue!.

this is not true!. they might have been hit on the head when playing soccer and when you are hit on the head hard enough this can cause a grand mal seizure!. I had a grand mal seizure when I was 46 and 3/4 old and died for 3 minutes and then came back to life by a difibulator and many other things!. I was paralyzed for about 4 months afterwards as well!. It is a scary thing!. most likely the soccer player you are referring to was hit on the head which lead to a grand mal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well you've heard wrong, a human being that is concious cannot swallow their tounge!. If you were knocked out, there is a real danger of swallowing your tounge, but you don't actually swallow it, it just moves to the back of your throat and blocks the airway, if your face up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
