Just have a heart to heart with her!.!.!. Let her know that this is VERY common for kids her age, do not belittle or tell her its bad or wrong (It is most definately not!)
!. I was the same way until i was about 11/12 and the thing that helped me most was that i had someone i could relate to that was in same situation and let me know that it was ok and the understanding that this can be unavoidable and letting me know that it would not go on forever!.!.!.
also it can be a medical and/or hereditary issue!.!.!.!.
children that tend to snore, be heavy sleepers, have constipation problems and lack of sleep and self awareness/conciousness can have more problems than others in this area!.
It is something that she will eventually outgrow!.
And WAY TO GO! to her for being able to say!.!.!. hey, there's this issue and I want to let you know!.!.!. thats the first step in overcoming this kind of problem!. And to your cousin, You are not alone, and Good Luck and Don't be discouraged!.!. This is one obstacle that you will be able to leave behind you!.

~very best wishes!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Increasing your intake of foods rich in magnesium has been shown to help resolve bed wetting !.!.!.!.!.!. is she eating enough magnesium rich foods!?!?

Foods rich in magnesium have also been shown to be usefull for alleviating the pain of headaches & migraine attacks ie ~leafy and green vegies, cold water fishes such as tuna, sardines, salmon and whiting, organic nuts and seeds (organic to avoid the nasty sulfites and chemicals that the commercial varieties are often preserved with) and wholegrain breads and cereals (if you can tolerate wheat)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. foods rich in magnesium will also help in resolving any issues with constipation that she may have, help to resolve an acid tummy and muscular twitching and pinching sensations and also aid in helping you deal with the stressy every day life situations we are all exposed to !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. magnesium is known as the antistress mineral & is needed in our bodies for healthy nerve and muscle functioning & of course for heart health!.

hope this helps a bit

She should be buying Goodnights, they look a lot like underpants but they are absorbent!. They cost about $10 for like 17, but it's cheaper than washing sheets every night!. A urologist would be able to help, but it's actually a lot more common than people know, and sometimes you just have to outgrow it!. The best thing you can do personally is just be cool about it!. She's not doing it on purpose and she already feels pretty bad about it, I bet!. Some people just sleep really soundly, and some people's nervous system and bladder develop at different rates!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My brother did the same thing for until he was about 8!.
We found that the best thing to do is refrain from giving excessive amounts of water or other drinks before bed and to also not talk about wetting the bed!. Thus, if you tell her "Try not to wet the bed tonight, I know you can do it," she will probably wet the bed!. Good luck with your cousin! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say talk to her, find out what her habits are!. Does she drink water or something before going to bed, is she stressed about something, is this new has she just stared this up or is she still wetting her bed since she was little!.

I'd recommand you talk to your doctor!. Simply call and ask, say what you said here but make sure you have already asked what I suggested above!. your doctor, if he/she values you as a client, should be able to recommand a good solution for you, give you options!.

what others have said is true, but there is a not so happy option to look at too!.!.!. wetting the bed is often an indicator of physical/ verbal/ sexual abuse!.!.!. i hope this is not the case!.!.!. but if you know anything you need to tell your parents!.!.!. or if you go to the same school or whatever, let a teacher or the nurse know!.!.!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

My boys wet the bed until they were 12!.We didn't have goodnights then!.I never said anything to them I just washed sheets each day and they were stressed by the bed wetting!.It is hereditary!.They do outgrow it!.She will too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I say go to the pharmacy and look for some pills or medicine that helps the bladder problem!. It could be from stress, tiredness, worrying, and not getting good sleep or she's scared!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
