Get your hands on a true temperpedic mattress!. It's like, 6 or 8 inches thick!. It has changed my life!. Your body will take about 2 or 3 weeks to fully learn how to relax!. It's fantastic!!! Be sure to buy the correct size pillow they offer!. It makes the whole thing perfect!. We've had ours for about 3 years and we still talk about what a smart purchase it was!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have arthritis in my spine so I need god support like you!. I tried the memory foam & liked it like everyone else except it trapped my body heat & I felt like a basted turkey!. The pillow top was a good choice to try next--mixed feelings!. Have you tried a down pillow topper!? That was a good feeling!. Also, a suggestion which may help--I know, unsolicitated advice!. Have you tried positioning a pillow between your knees or under your feet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have slept better on the couch for years now!. It has foam cushions but not memory foam!. I have always suspected that since the memory foam hugs your body so well that you would not be able to move around as well!. For me that would be a problem!. And covering the memory foam with a sheet would kind of defeat the purpose!. I would go with the pillow top or stay on the couch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Before purchasing an expensive new mattress you can get a pillow top mattress topper and a memory foam mattress topper and see what works best for you!.

For a fraction of the price of a new bed you might solve your problem and hey, you might like the combination of both together even!.

Sweet dreams! :)

I know that my Orthopedist advised me to sleep on a firm bed---which can be achieved with placing a board beneath the mattress!.

There's still controversy out whether memory foam is helpul for chronic back problems!.

Try to avoid sleeping on the couch, it will make your back feel tigher!.

Before you go to sleep take a warm bath to loosen those muscles up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

pillow top, i have a really fluffy pillow top and i sleep the best in it than in any other bed!. you could maybe get some memory foam pillows though, i like those sometimes but memory foam doesnt have the springy cushininess that i love in my pillow top!. hope this helped and that your back will feel better with the new bed you have chosen!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had muscle spasms in my back too!.i have pillow top but my secret is just to sleep in fetal position with a pillow under my knees it helps me alot i haven't had a spasm in months my spasm was in my lower back though!.you should try it before you invest in a new bed but if it doesn't help i say pillow topWww@Answer-Health@Com

the memory foam breaks down after about a year!.
i was so sad!.
take just regular MAGNESIUM that you'll find in the vitamin aisle anywhere!. 3 of 'em 2-3 times a day!. muscle spasms GONE in just a day or two!. costs less than $5
