What is clutter control?!

Clutter control is the set of behaviours one uses to clean up one's hovel when it either is or is getting completely out of control messy!. For some people this means going to the dump and cleaning house and going to the dump again!. For others, it means engaging the services of a good backhoe and a professional cleaning company and renting a dumpster!.!.!.I fall into this latter category!.!.!.For some folks w/ OCD, it means engaging the services of a professional organizer (or loving group of friends!.!.!.) and a good behavioural therapist and truly making and keeping a commitment going to getting rid of stuff every single day and being tidy!.!.!.something many of us SUCK at, my personal belief being that if the Goddess wanted me to clean, I would have been born w/ a bottle of Windex in one hand and a mop in the other!. I wasn't!. It is also important to remember that women with immaculate homes are considerably boring and rarely make history!.!.!.My son once asked me recently, "Why can't you be clean!?!?!?" To which my response was, "Who told you it was my sole job on this earth to clean up after your a*s, do your laundry, cook 3 meals a day for 3 people, work full time, do all my own gardening and lawncare, take care of your disabled sister, and on and on and on!?!?!?" He's 20, btw!. Sometimes men having been well-taken care of all throughout their childhood seem to think these free services will continue for their entire lives, at no charge!.
