As much as we pay in taxes and what not, YES it all should be for free!!

No!.!.!.!.!.people dont take enough responsibility for themselves at the moment!.!.!.!.for the simple stuff like colds/toothache/backache etc The simple pain medication which is available over the counter should be people's first line action, only needing prescription meds when OTC stuff has proved to be ineffective!.
Generic Paracetamol can be bought for as little as 16p in the UK, yet people regularly contact their GP or the Emergency Out Of Hours service for a simple self-limiting illness like a headcold when they havent even bothered to try Paracetamol (and have some in the house!!)
People need to take (first-line) responsibility for themselves AND for protecting the future of their Health Service by using it appropriately!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
