Question: Why sudden fear if you woke up and find out that you become total deaf!?
I am deaf man , just wonder why do they fear to become deaf!?
I ask because, I was born deaf and I'm deaf all my life!.
It happened few people are like that!.

I'm wondering why you keep focusing on your deafness so much because all your questions have to do with you being deaf!? You still are a person like everyone else and I think you are putting to much of your time and mental energy on this issue of yours!. Well some people would fear it because they have been hearing all their lives!. It's like someone saying to you, would you fear losing a foot or perhaps the ability to walk!.
Some people worry far too much and believe all kinds of strange things, I once worked in a call centre and a woman phoned in to say she was worried she would wake up in the morning with Down Syndrome!.
I believe we should all make the best of what we've got and get on with life as you are doing admirably!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think anyone would fear that!.!.!. U were born that way so u have never experienced hearing, and I feel so sad about that because I love music and nature sounds and the sound of my childrens laughter!. To have a sense all your life then wake up and its gone is frightening!.!. fear is the 1st natural instinct!. It just not that way wit u because you cant miss something you never had!.!.!. Well, you are used to it!. When you are born deaf you don't know anything else!. When you can hear and then it is taken away from you it has got to be really hard!. Imagine if you woke up blind!.!.!.you would fear that right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't like music and I am pretty noise intolerant!. Half the time I am wearing earplugs as noise is to distracting for me!. I think I could get by without hearing!. I love to read though so I would hate to go blind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would be scared lol because im used to hearing everything and if i suddenly couldnt one day i would freak out lol!. since you never heard anything in your life i think you would freak out if you one day could suddenly hear lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm profoundly deaf, born deaf too!. I wear cochlear implant (which helps me to hear, this is different than hearing aids as you may know) and I dont use sign lanuage but can speak well!.
Well I guess if a hearing person wakes up and discovered that they are totally deaf, they would be so scared wondering if they would ever hear again!. It would be a scary and awkward experience for them as they are used to listening to sounds like music, nature, people (without needing to look at their lips or face) quiet sounds and so forth!.
Did you know that theres people whos deaf and blind at the same time!? Imagine if we ended up that way!? Gosh that would be a scary experience for us people (deaf or not)!. This is coz we are so used to using our sights, our senses, but if we lost one or few or even all of them, then yeah it is very spooky!. Wont be at all once you get used to and theres so many things that help us to daily life!. Like vibration alarm clock, brailli books for blind people, so many things have improved to help the disabled people's lives better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
