Can I take tylenol while i'm taking amoxicillin (strep antibiotic)?!
Question: Can I take tylenol while i'm taking amoxicillin (strep antibiotic)!?
Btw, I am breastfeeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic and Tylenol is acetaminophen!. These medications are different and work different in our bodies!. The amoxicillin will treat the strep throat and the Tylenol will help with pain or fever!. You can take Tylenol every 4-6 hours 650mg for an adult!. Neither of these medications are harmful to the child that you are breastfeeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My Daughter in law jjust had a baby 5 months ago and she was on the same antibiotics for an infection and she was only allowed to take Tylenol for pain relief!. I would say it would be ok but it is always best to check with your Dr when you are breastfeeding!. BTW she was breastfeeding also at the time!. Best check with the Doc but I'm sure it will be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
