not being fully asleep for surgery!. I knew everything that was going on and could hear everything!. My body was numb but the rest of me wasn't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I went into the hospital with a fever of 106 F!. A CDC doc misdiagnosed with a horrible tropical disease!. The huge amounts of strong antibiotics/antivirals they used gave me serious side effects!. Spent 28 days in the hospital without getting any better!.
Finally, my own doc did more tests and determined I had an infected dermoid ovarian tumor!. They removed it and I was just fine!.

My worst hospital experience was actually pretty funny, in the midst of a labor and delivery that was fraught with weird experiences!.
I was in active labor, probably 8 cm dilated, with no WORKING epidural and pretty much gasping and moaning in pain!. This had been going on for H-O-U-R-S!.
My phone rang and when I answered it, it was some random man's voice asking for some random woman, who was presumably the last person to be using that birthing room!. I told him he had the wrong number and hung up!.
The phone rang again; I answered again, a little more sharply this time; same man, asking for the same girl!. I told him again that he had the wrong number, but this time he asked if I knew where she went!. At this point, I was in the middle of a ridiculously painful contraction, and this is how I responded:
Me: "NO I don't know where she went! Call the front desk!"
Caller: "Can you transfer me!?!?"
Me: "I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF LABOR!. I DO NOT KNOW WHERE SHE WENT OR WHAT THE NUMBER FOR THE FRONT DESK IS AND I AM NOT A ******* OPERATOR!. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN!!!!"
Man: "Well you don't have to a *itch about it!."

not in hospital!.!.!. but i was at the dentist getting my wisdom teeth pulled out---all four!. and i woke up in the middle to find the doctor straddled over me and my head being jerked all over(he was obviously having a hard time getting my teeth out) woke up, went home and the next day i had bruises alll over my arms!. they did strap me in!. i called and asked why i had all these bruises and they told me i moved around while he was working!. i said NO i woke up in the middle of it and saw he was on me jerking me around!. the call got verrry quiet after that!. damn peeps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I came out of surgery and was in horrible pain!. I asked for some medication and got a shot of Demerol!. The drug had a bad effect on me!. It gave me horrible hallucinations and made me violent, so much so that I was tied down to the bed and gagged for screaming and cursing at the staff and other patients in the recovery room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i had to get 2 shots and i was all worked up about it!. so i was freaking out!. the lady gave me my shots and my mom went to go pay!.!.!.i started swaying back and forth and then fainted into my sis's arms i was carried into a room and i kept asking if i was in a dream!.!.the next week when i came back to make sure everything was ok with the shots all the nurses remembered me as the girl who fainted and asked me if they were in a dream!. it was emberrassingWww@Answer-Health@Com
Pap smear while I had a foley catheter in!.
Quite painful!. The nurse held me down while I cried and cursed!.
And nobody knows why I had a foley catheter in me for so long!. I didn't need it, but no one told the nurses it could be removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

having my 3rd c-section!. i told them i wasn't numb all the way and they said i was!. of course i was awake for the whole thing!. anyway, i could feel them cut into me and the blood running down my side!. didn't scare me enough cuz i had a 4th one :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
well personally i have none but when my grandmother, she's 93, was in the hospital to fix a broken back they drugged her up and her speech got so slurred that we couldn't even understand what she was saying!. that pissed me off!Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I got my tonsils taken out and I woke up!. I didt know where I was and I started screaming when i saw a drop of blood on the bed!. my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I made my mom pass out!. lol :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
um i fell into a barbeque and burned my left arm lolz!

wow thats crazy what happened to your mom!. they stole my moms wedding ring a couple weeks before she died!. she was really upsetWww@Answer-Health@Com
