Answers:
The chemical adenosine binds to adenosine receptors in the brain!. The binding of adenosine causes drowsiness by slowing down nerve cell activity!. In the brain, adenosine binding also causes blood vessels to dilate (presumably to let more oxygen in during sleep)!.

Adenosine is produced by your daily activity!. For example, muscles produce adenosine as one of the byproducts of exercise!.

To a nerve cell, caffeine looks like adenosine!. Caffeine, therefore, binds to the adenosine receptors!. However, it doesn't slow down the cell's activity as adenosine would!. The cells cannot sense adenosine anymore because caffeine is taking up all the receptors adenosine binds to!. So instead of slowing down because of the adenosine level, the cells speed up!. You can see that caffeine also causes the brain's blood vessels to constrict, because it blocks adenosine's ability to open them up!. This effect is why some headache medicines, like Anacin, contain caffeine -- if you have a vascular headache, the caffeine will close down the blood vessels and relieve it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Caffeine is a bitter white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that acts as a psychoactive stimulant drug and a mild diuretic (speeds up urine production)[2] in humans and other animals!. Caffeine was discovered by a German chemist, Friedrich Ferdinand Runge, in 1819!. He coined the term "kaffein", a chemical compound in coffee, which in English became caffeine!.[3] Caffeine is also called guaranine when found in guarana, mateine when found in mate, and theine when found in tea; all of these names are synonyms for the same chemical compound!.

In humans, caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant, having the effect of temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness!. Beverages containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea, soft drinks and energy drinks enjoy great popularity!. Caffeine is the world's most widely consumed psychoactive substance, but unlike most other psychoactive substances, it is legal and unregulated in nearly all jurisdictions!. In North America, 90% of adults consume caffeine daily!.[4] The U!.S!. Food and Drug Administration lists caffeine as a "Multiple Purpose Generally Recognized as Safe Food Substance"!.[5] One 2008 study suggested that women consuming 200 milligrams or more of caffeine per day had about twice the miscarriage risk as women who drank none, while another 2008 study found no link between miscarriage and caffeine consumption!.[6]

The metabolites of caffeine contribute to caffeine's effects!. Theobromine is a vasodilator that increases the amount of oxygen and nutrient flow to the brain and muscles!. Theophylline, the second of the three primary metabolites, acts as a smooth muscle relaxant that chiefly affects bronchioles and acts as a chronotrope and inotrope that increases heart rate and efficiency!. The third metabolic derivative, paraxanthine, is responsible for an increase in the lipolysis process, which releases glycerol and fatty acids into the blood to be used as a source of fuel by the muscles!.[50]Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem with coffee!. I love it, but decided to save it for mornings only and stop drinking it at around 4pm!. It usually takes about 8 hours or something for the effects of caffeine to wear off!. you can try doing the same, or switch to decaf or a green tea which has less caffeine!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

caffeine raises the heart rate and the increased blood flow stimulates the brain, making you more aware and less relaxed in your mind!.
a cup of coffee temporarily makes you slightly smarter a couple of minutes after you drink it as do many other stimulants!. unfortunately when your energy crashes shortly afterwards you become more distracted and stupider!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant, having the effect of temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness!. Tea is good for you, I drink tea everyday also!. If you don't want to give up tea, go to a store and try to look for decaffeinated tea!. Green tea is the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes , there is a very easy way of doing just what you want to do !. Buy some decaffenated tea !. It still has some caffeine but much less and it won't work like it is now!. Try it , it pretty much tastes the same especially if you try it with lemon !.
