Answers:
You are probably a night person!. If you used to stay up late and don't get sleepy until early morning, you are probably a night person!. You are a person who would normally sleep during the daytime if you were allowed to do that!. If you had a nighttime job like a security guard or something where you work at night, you would probably be very good at it!.

I am a night person myself and I hate getting up early!. My morning job is working at a school and right now while school is out I get to sleep in so I can stay up a little later at night!.

Most people don't understand us because they peak in the morning!. My husband used to get so mad at me because I wanted to sleep in and he wanted to get up early!. But it has to do with your body's biorhythm!. You peak in mid afternoon probably!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is such a thing as over-sleeping!. Actually, one does need the full 8hr sleep!. What is important is to have that REM kind of sleep, when you have dreams!. Try to have only 6hrs sleep so you have two hours for doing morning exercises, mostly calesthenics, to wake up your brain and your muscles!. Then, hit the showers (cold if you can) and have a full breakfast!. If this does not work, you must consult a sleep therapist!. The doctor has scientific knowledge and equipment for your "problem!." Personally, I dont think it is a problem, you just have to have self-discipline!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That sounds like sleep inertia!. It's something most people get, though it lasts longer for some people!. It's just usual grogginess but it can be really severe!. You may need more than 8 hours of sleep!. You could try caffeine, which usually gets rid of it, although you might crash later in the day!. Since it's interfering with your career, you might want to talk to a sleep specialist; maybe you have a sleeping disorder you don't know about!.

There are some good sites about sleep inertia, go check them out :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
