Sunburn/bug Question???!
Question: Sunburn/bug Question!?!?!?
How do I fix a sunburn!? I know that after I get it it usually turns into a tan anyway (I'm lucky that way) but how can I make it do that faster!?!?!?!? Is there some sort of cream or something or tip you learned!? Please help!!!

When you get home take a very hot shower, this will open pores and release some of the heat from your skin!. Then apply some after burn GEL or aloe!. Do NOT use lotions, they form a barrier that traps heat in!. The hot shower is not good for your skin (hot water causes aging over time) and certainly will not feel good on a sunburn, but if you want the burn to go away asap, do this!. I learned this from the owners of a sun product company!. I would not suggest this if you have a severe burn, if it's really bad, go see a dermatologist!. Also, take some tylenol to reduce swelling!.
When I have mosquito bites I make a cross with a credit card really hard on it, and then rub a bit of spit on it!. Works for me!. If that isn't your style here is a page with a plethora of tips you can try to see what works for you!.

Any sunburn is a bad thing, and you should be wearing at least SPF15 every time you go outside!. They do make combo bug spray and SPF, which you should also be wearing since the danger of getting West Nile Virus from mosquito bites has gone way up!. Do the smart thing and you won't have issues with skin cancer and serious mosquito borne illness in the future!.

I don't have an answer about sunburn/tan, but re mosquito bites: always keep a pen/stick of "Afterbite" or something like it with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
