Out of World Experience while taking Ultram.?!

Question: Out of World Experience while taking Ultram!.!?
When I was 16 (I'm now 19) I was diagnosed with Cavernous Angioma!. My neurologist said I had a micro-aneurysm in the speech and thought process of my brain!.
The side effects of this is a constant dull headache that never goes away!. The Neurologist told me it would never go away, but I could bring it down to manageable levels!.
About 6 months ago I started getting massive migraines!.
A doctor prescribed me Ultrams!.
After I take an Ultram, about an hour later i start having massive out of world hallucinations!. I lose all sense of reality and it seems like the fabric of the universe dissolves around me and the dimension we know to exist fades into nothingness!. My whole world seems like a huge nightmare, everything seems so real I'm convinced it is!. This effect seems to last about an hour
I contacted the doctor who prescribed this and was told that this is not a side effect of the medication!. Yet every time I take it, this happens!. My neurosurgeon doesn't believe me!.
What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Ultram is a US brand name for Tramadol, which is an Opioid, putting it in the same class of medication as morphine!. Opioids as a class have hallucinations as an infrequent side-effect, though the particular action of Tramadol can make such reactions unlikely to happen!.

First, I would ensure that the doctor you are speaking with knows any and all other medications you take!. Also, whether you take any recreational drugs, including alcohol!. Drug interactions can be extremely difficult to diagnose, since every drug works slightly differently in each person!.

Also, I would definitely seek a consultation with another doctor!. Never forget that the doctors are there to help you! If your doctor is being unhelpful, let him know by taking your money to another doctor who is willing to help!. While doctors are trained in their fields, no one knows your body better than you, and the best doctors are the ones that LISTEN to their patients, and merge that information with what they know about medicine!. Too many just ignore the patients and assume that what they think they know is absolutely correct!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

definitely see another Dr!. sounds like a reaction to the drug or to high a dose either way he should be concerned and done somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com
