Boy, that is big!. That is bigger than a ping-pong or golf ball!. Whether harmless or not, it is an obstruction!. Consult a gastro-interologist, a doctor specializing in internal medicine, and follow his advice!. If I were you, I would really be worried!. Dont depend on opinions you will get from the internet!. If it's truly a cyst, you have no reason to worry!. Renal (kidney) cysts are very common!. You don't need to take medicine!.
I assume you had either an ultrasound, CT, or MRI and they were diagnosed by a radiologist!. In that case, there's nothing to worry about, and you do not need further follow-up for a simple renal cyst!.
However, if it was a non-radiologist interpreting the imaging studies in his/her office, then I would get a second opinion from a radiologist b/c there are some types of kidney problems that appear like a cyst to an untrained eye (a non-radiologist) but may be something worse (like cancer)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What does your doctor say!? I think you should definitely go to a specialist and get his/her opinion!. That is nothing to mess around with!. You don't want to just let it go and then a few years down the road they tell you that you waited too long to take care of the problem!.
