What does the "PA" in the title John Doe, MD, PA or John Doe, DMD, PA !


Question: What does the "PA" in the title John Doe, MD, PA or John Doe, DMD, PA mean!?
Question above!. I don't see why a doctor (MD) or dentist (DMD) would also have physician's assistant training (what PA usually stands for)!.!.!. but I don't know what else PA could stand for in these cases!. Help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It stands for "Professional Association"!. This is part of the clinics corporation status!. It is there to basically protect the doctor from personal liability, it makes the corporation liable for any litigation!. This is similar to other corporations that call themselves LLC or Limited Liability corporation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
