Answers:
What you're seeing is the pulsation of your abdominal aorta!. The aorta is the largest artery in the body!. It exits the heart going up and makes an immediate downward turn through your chest cavity and into the abdomen!. At about the point of the umbilicus (belly button) it splits into two slightly smaller arteries which continue to branch down into the lower abdomen and legs!.

As long as it's not painful, and it's not protruding from the abdomen, it is probably completely normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Consider checking this farther yourself: while backlying, press in with 'stiff' fingertips firmly over the place you feel 'weird' and then LET GO QUICKLY!.

If you feel any pain when letting go, you'd be wise to see your doctor & be examined!. This is not 100% (it's only testing for pain & can't tell about other soft-tissue changes)!. Other tests may be needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a major artery!. Everybody has one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
