Why are your feet raised when having a brain mri?!

Question: Why are your feet raised when having a brain mri!?
increased bloodflow to your brain!?
ik if you raise a body part above the heart it reduces bloodflow to that area and that's the idea behind raising something that's injured to prevent swelling!. does that have anything to do with it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your legs being raised has nothing to do with increasing blood flow to your brain during a brain MRI!. It is for comfort!. Most people have trouble laying flat on their backs for such an extended time period, as is required for a MRI scan!. Our goal is to try to make the patient as comfortable as possible during their scan, so they can remain still during their procedure!. We also elevate the legs and feet during a spine or shoulder MRI!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
