Back Pain, Please help!?!

Question: Back Pain, Please help!!?
I have been having some lower back pain every night for the last couple weeks!. The pain is pretty intense but only comes at night!. Its on thre muscles on my lower back and the pain also feels like its on my spinal cord!. Its above the area where my kidneys would be, but right below where my rib cage ends in the back!.
I play volleyball about 5 hours a week, swim for fun nearly everyday, and take a lot of walk!. Otherwise no strenuous activities!.

Any ideas what would be causing this!? Any ways to help!?

Im 13 years old!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi!. this might help

If you have pain or numbness in either of your legs extending to your calf, then i would advise you to get an MRI scan as soon as possible!. It could be a herniated disk, commonly known as slipped disk!. Normally the pain is at the lumbar area and it feels sore and soft with varying degrees in pain!. This happens to people who are very athletic or a sudden weight loss!.

If you have fever mostly erratic and there's pain at the side of your back, normally where your buttocks meet your back, then i suggest seeing your doctor!. Blame your anatomy for a UTI probably!.

There are also somethings that can cause back pains!. Posture, ergonomics and the way you manuver yourself during the rigurous activities that you are in!.

Try Cold/hot compress for a week!. but then again, for back pains, i would suggest a visit to the doctor!. there are certain back pains that would not go away with short term medications and would require you pain management!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have herniated a lumbar disc and this , in turn , is causing neural impingement (pinched nerve) !. Try lying/sleeping with a pillow between your legs and this should provide some relief - see a doctor to be safe !.

Well i know if you don't stand up straight that can happen, but to help you can get a heat pad at the store and just put it where the pain is!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like apinced nerve between the disc!. I have the same problem!. I took about 5 ibuprophen and put a heating pad under it and in an hour so the pain subsidedWww@Answer-Health@Com
