Will I have to get a physical exam?!


Question: Will I have to get a physical exam!?
Im going to the doctors on tuesday because I self harm and I think I have depression!.!.!.
I just read on a health website that if you go to the doctor because of depression that you have to get a physical exam!.!.!.
Is this true!? If it is!.!.!.!.what sort of exam!? What will the doctor do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you will have physical exam!. You will have the head check, lungs, and they will ask you questions!.

You may have a pap smear and STD exam!. They will do a pregnancy test out of precaution in case you are prescribed medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
weigh you, take blood pressure, reflex test, and probably order some blood and urine tests that you have to go to a lab for!. I don't think there would normally be any internal exam (ie check inside your vagina)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
