Question: My cousin overdosed on pain killers!.!.whats going to happen to him!?
He is in the hospital in a comma and they pumped his stomach!. Is he going to be ok!? Is he going to die!? I feel so horrible!Www@Answer-Health@Com

He overdosed on purpose!? It depends on the amount he took, and how long after you guys found him and took him to the hospital!. If it was a large amount and you found him minutes after he passed out, then maybe they can save him!.
If it was a couple of hours until you guys found him down, then he might die!. If he told you he overdosed and got to the hospital in time, then maybe he will get out of his coma and just have permanent liver damage!. The fourth possibility is he could get out of the coma, and be okay, without any damage, but it really depends on the AMOUNT and the TIME the drugs were in his system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on the painkiller!.
Many over-the-counter painkillers, especially acetaminophen (Tylenol), are pretty toxic to the liver!.
If he's in an induced coma (i!.e!. they put him in it on purpose) then he'll probably be okay!. If he is unconscious from the overdose, he's not in good shape!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Being totally honest, it does depend on a couple of factors!. If he took paracetamol, it can cause terminal liver damage, but it would also depend on how long it was before they treated him, sometimes, if it is treated in time then it can be non fatal!.
